Steve and Gayle would like to invite you to share in their little piece of paradise at Fobares Fruits.

We want you to share in the experience of picking an apple fresh off the tree, to take a bite and enjoy the crisp, firm goodness that nature has given us, and to enjoy all their fruits of our labor!

Steven L. and Gayle M. Fobare, with help from family and friends, have spent the years planting and growing an orchard and vineyard at their 180 Johnson Road home.

The goal, according to the couple, is to establish a new business — Fobare’s Fruits — and to help supply the north country with quality locally grown fruit.

Mr. Fobare, a dairy farmer for 20 years before getting into the construction and asphalt business, and Mrs. Fobare, a 26-year food service employee at St. Lawrence University, Canton.

Current Attractions

Fort Applewood is a fun playground with a Western theme.  All children will have fun playing “Cowboys” and “Indians” here!  Enjoy exploring the large covered wagon, the “Applewood Fort”, and of course the Teepee with tunnels.  Our playground has a tire fort so children could get soiled playing.  Please dress accordingly!

At High Noon there will be a stick horse race for all ages.  (This will not begin until fall and we will update when it will begin.)  Winners of each day will go on to the final race at the end of the season for the Grand Finale.  Of course we encourage anyone who would like to dress up with our theme to do so!

The cost is $5 per person to play on any part of the playground or to just sit and watch your child play.

We now have an amazing corn maze fort the whole family to enjoy!  It is $3 per person.
