Steve and Gayle would like to invite you to share in their little piece of paradise at Fobares Fruits.

We want you to share in the experience of picking an apple fresh off the tree, to take a bite and enjoy the crisp, firm goodness that nature has given us, and to enjoy all their fruits of our labor!

Steven L. and Gayle M. Fobare, with help from family and friends, have spent the years planting and growing an orchard and vineyard at their 180 Johnson Road home.

The goal, according to the couple, is to establish a new business — Fobare’s Fruits — and to help supply the north country with quality locally grown fruit.

Mr. Fobare, a dairy farmer for 20 years before getting into the construction and asphalt business, and Mrs. Fobare, a 24-year food service employee at St. Lawrence University, Canton.

Our new hours are Saturdays only from 10-4 until Thanksgiving.

We want to thank everyone for a wonderful Saturday. Our orchard opened up her limbs to all you u-pickers to let you enjoy nature at her BEST !! The good news is we have LOTS of beautiful apples in the Apple Barn along with all our bakery goodies such as hot off the press apple cider and pumpkin donuts, homemade pies, cinnamon rolls, apple crisp, pumpkin rolls and carrot cake rolls and unique food items in the market. But mother nature was hard on our apple crop this year and we can no longer offer u-pick in the orchard. But Fort Applewood, the corn maze and wagon rides to the great pumpkin patch are still available for everyone to enjoy!! Be sure to try our NEW apple cider slushies.  We want to thank everyone again with all our heart!! Sincerely Steve and Gayle. Donuts will be going early for all our early birds!!
